- Leading a team of software engineers to build and maintain the Data Discovery product
- Assisting team members with career growth and development
- Hiring talent to grow our fun and collaborative engineering team
- Providing high business value for the customers by accelerating the delivery of our product features in an Agile environment
- Working closely with Product Management to plan release scope and to ensure that features meet requirements
- Providing estimates and initial assessment for proposed development tasks
- Tracking and reporting progress of the project and keep feature collaborators updated
- Balancing resources with task assignments
- Coordinating projects that span across multiple teams
- Ensuring timely and high quality delivery
- Owning projects end to end from design to deployment
- 2+ years of experience developing a team with 5+ engineers
- 5+ years' OO software design and development experience
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience leading teams of engineers with 10+ team size, especially in a Tech lead and/or Scrum master role
- Developing performant, responsive user interfaces for data visualization software experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly, both technical and functional knowledge
- SaaS development
- Attention to detail and deep understanding of engineering best practices

About the Team
The Data Discovery team is a group of highly motivated technologists building a world-class cloud analytics platform that enables customers to make optimal business decisions by blending and analyzing Workday and non-Workday data. Our main goal is to provide sophisticated, easy-to-use analytics solutions to all our customers. We have been building many exciting features as well as integrating with other analytics products. We use modern web technologies, such as ReactJS and TypeScript to develop intuitive, interactive and performant user interfaces.
